Tips on how to help the water scarcity issue:
Use less water by:
- Turn off the water faucet when you're brushing your teeth.
- Don't leave the faucet running when washing the dishes.
- Drink less coffee, as from the time the coffee bean is harvested to being in your coffee cup, it is 40 gallons of water wasted right there.
- Check faucets and pipes for leaks regularly
- Install water-saving shower heads and low-flow faucet aerators
- Use your dishwasher and clothes washer for only full loads
- Don't run the hose while washing your car
- Don't water the gutter
Donating just a few bucks to a non-profit organization wouldn't harm you. Would you like to leave this world, knowing you did nothing to help the water scarcity issue? By the way, it's projected that by 2025, 1.8 billion people will suffer from absolute water scarcity.

Helping out won't hurt. Every human being has the right to fresh, clean water. Water is the necessary key to survival of humans. Here's the catch: 1.7 billion people don't have access to this water. $1 can easily become $4 to $34 dollars in African economies. $5 won't hurt you economically, and that money could help a family in need to get access to clean water. Because would you like to have to drink dirty water that could have a lethal disease in it? We think not.
